Emma Randall

Freelance Project Consultant

Emma Randall is a freelance project manager, specialising in youth and community development both in the UK and overseas. She has worked extensively in the Philippines over 22 years and has experience working across Europe and in South Africa. Her passion is to see growth and wholistic development for individuals, organisations and communities.

Originally trained as a Biologist, then in cross cultural communication and adult education, Emma brings a combination of analytical and research skills, keen observation, a highly pragmatic approach (what works for people), deep empathy and a curiosity about what makes different people ‘tick’.

She is President of Puso Ng Ama Foundation, a youth and community enterprise in the north of Manila, and Director of a not for profit in Negros, Philippines. Her mission is to identify, train, encourage and empower local leaders in their communities and has recently qualified as a Resilience Coach.

When not overseas, Emma has worked in community education, learning and skills, in a secure unit for children in conflict with the law, as a practitioner of Functional Fluency https://functionalfluency.com  and in special needs education.

She is mother to three adult children, enjoys travelling, campling, walking, snorkelling and scuba diving (but only in warm water!).

She has walked the whole of Offa's Dyke and much of the Southwest Coast path in the UK as well as the Camino de Santiago in Spain and Portugal.

Emma brings a wide scope of academic and practical skills to her role as Freelance Project Consultant. Based in the UK (but often working on projects elsewhere in the world), Emma provides ongoing specialised advice and fresh ideas to our work.
