Resilient Mindshift for Carers Program
A supportive program created for professional carers who spend their days looking after others while often carrying a significant emotional load themselves.
Many carers don't realize how much stress they've been carrying until it starts showing up as fatigue, irritability, emotional exhaustion, or difficulty switching off after work. This program is built around that reality. Not as crisis response, but as a practical way to steady things before they reach that point, or to help rebuild when they already have.
The focus isn't on doing more or trying harder. It's about working out what's actually happening when stress build up, and learning practical, realistic ways to restore balance, resilience and create a more sustainable way of working and living.
Discover...Relief...Understanding...and a Way Forward
While being supported by experienced and qualified clinicians. Resilient Mindshift for Carers is delivered in individual sessions via teleheatlh or workshops, making it accessible, flexible and east to fit into busy schedules. Sessions and workshops are facilitated by clinicians who understand the realities of caring roles and who bring both professional expertise and genuine respect for the work carers do every day.
Built around the Six Domains of Resilience
These aren't abstract concepts - they're practical areas that reflect how we function day to day when we're under pressure and how we can rebuild capacity.
Evidence based and peer reviewed, the Six Domains of Resilience is a preventative and proactive approach to mental well being.
Resilience Mindshift for Carers has been adapted from the CReC program (DRIVEN) by Dr Rhonda Emonson.

How does it work?
There are four intakes each year. The sessions are 30 minutes each week and via telehealth with a referral from your Medical Practitioner. Workshops are conducted periodically throughout the year in a variety of venues.
The focus is on creating a respectful, practical and non-judgemental environment where you can strengthen skills in a way that is relevant and achievable and one on one with the support of an experienced Clinician.
What will you receive?
After arranging an appointment with you, each week, at the same time and from the same telephone number, you will receive a 20-30 minute call from a clinician who will support you over the 12 week period with the Resilient Mindshift for Carers Program.
- Worksheets each week to make notes on in between sessions to consolidate what was covered in the session.
- A PR6 overview so that we can focus on what is important and relevant to you and for you to keep.
- A set of magnetic tiles that align with each of the six domains of resilience so that you can place on your fridge as a reminder - no charge and sent to you after session four.
- Towards the conclusion of the 12 sessions, you will receive a three month subscription to the Resilience App - No charge.
